Grown from the same plant as the highly esteemed Jamaican Blue mountain coffee, this bean can very closely approximate the flavor of real Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. The difference between the two besides the price is the specific location in which it is grown and a slight altitude difference. JBM is grown @ 4500 feet above sea level and Hatian Blue Norde is grown @ 5200 ft above sea level. While grown in the same region as JBM this bean grows in a different spot on the mountain. JBM has very strict parameters regarding elevation and specific locations before it can be officially called JBM. We were pleasantly surprised at the super smooth, chocolate, sweet fruity finish we discovered in this bean. If you want a very close approximation of real Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee without the high price, try this Medium dark roast

Grown at an altitude of 3773 feet above sea level, this is not a particularly high altitude bean. This bean is grown by Daterra Estates and as the crops are seasonal it can be hard to find. Daterra Estates gets lots of accolades for sustainable production practices. This bean has a lot going on, the experience of drinking this coffee differs from year to year and crop to crop. This cup-o-jo gives you a very complex and interesting coffee drinking experience. Spicy, smooth chocolate, and frankly a bit hard to describe. The smell is like nothing we have ever experienced. This bean has a unique flavor and there is a lot going on. It's one of our favorite Medium Dark roasts.

DECAF!!! - Really...... That's what we said. But we have a few customers who have asked us for some. After some searching, we decided to profile this bean. This profile required a bunch more research than we usually do for a bean, and we had to learn about the process of decaffeinating. Swiss water process is the way to go. This process uses only water and avoids chemicals and preserves the natural flavor of the bean.
Peru is known for producing high quality Arabica coffee, with its coffee regions being located in the northern and central mountainous areas of the country. Grown at 3000 ft above seal level, the three primary coffee regions in Peru are Cajamarca, San Martín, and Amazonas. Coffees from these regions tend to have a medium to high acidity, floral and fruity notes, with a chocolaty finish. But what about decaf? This medium roast decaffeinated coffee has a bold full flavor with almond hints and notes of chocolate and sweet cream at the finish. It's even refreshing, like the Ethiopia coffees. We were blown away, this is really an excellent cup-o-jo and I find myself brewing up a cup in the afternoon when it's available.

This is the one and only experimental blend we've ever done with our single origin coffees. You might be able to discern what we did to make this by the name, but there are a lot of variables that we can't talk about, and good luck guessing what those are. We'd tell, but we'd have to hurt you. This is super smooth, with tons of stuff going, amazing flavor, chocolate, anise, buttery, somewhat fruity, almost sweet. We don't do this very often because it's very labor-intensive and expensive to produce, but if you want an amazing coffee experience we suggest you contact us, and we'll make you a batch. We think it's our best coffee yet.
